The Next Phase of Muro Fiore Photo A Day
I am sure many of you are looking at my most recent post compared to the last post and counting the days in between - yep, it is eight... I am burning out on the photo a day concept and as I have mentioned to some of you, I am ready for the next phase of Muro Fiore. It's been almost two years that I have been posting one photo a day. The original purpose was to get me to carry my camera more and just simply take more pictures.... well, I think I have accomplished that. I feel this blog has evolved into something different now which involves many of you.
So, I'd love to hear your ideas on what you'd like to see me do... Is it a challenge a week or category a day - what would you like to see? My friend Cyrena changed her photo a day blog to "Photos as I Like It"... should mine be named "Photos as You Like It"? I am obviously trying to change it up and make it fun, while still engaging in my passion for photography.
I'll be taking a hiatus during the holidays, as I will be away from my Mac and Lightroom program, so I thought this would be a good time to hear from you and also brainstorm on what the next phase will be.

Sarah...I have really enjoyed your photos. Maybe the next step is "Sarah's thought of the day". Perhaps that will be a photo, a quote or a moment you want to share.
Your life/career takes you to many places and you engage with so many people, wouldn't it be fun to share those moments with your followers?
Here's my suggestion:
"Making My Way Through The Alphabet!"
Starting January 1st, you find an object that looks or represents the letter "A" (This could be a building, a tree branch, a fence, etc...)
Then every two weeks, you go through the alphabet. Jan 1st, the letter A. Two weeks later, the letter B. And so on...
26 letters in the alphabet, every two weeks a posting of a letter, equal 52 weeks. 1 year!
I think you come across so many interesting shapes and formations in your travels that you will be able to make it all the way to the letter Z! Plus, as you said, doing this every day is tough, so this would only be 26 days out of the year. Also, if you "See" the letter R on a trip and you're only up to the letter N, you can save the letter R for the week you need it.
That's my suggestion...
Will I see the letter J on May 7th? Only Sarah will know!!
