Now I know my ABC's... The 2010 Photo ABC Challenge is complete! Give me your ideas for the 2011 Challenge!

This was taken in March in NYC. I am going through many photos for Christmas gift projects and this one jumped out at me for my final letter. A little bit of cropping and tadah!

I spent some time at my good friend Molly's house in CA last week and was on a mission to find my next few letters. Let's just say, mission accomplished. Thanks Christy for the inspiration!

This "R" is compliments of my niece, Bella. This was taken in January when I first started the challenge. I had a lot of helpers in finding letters including this one, found at the Marsh Memorial where my brother got married 9 months later. 

ABC Challenge - Q - Back At It!

OK, folks! I am back at it with the ABC Challenge! I have fallen behind, but I am determined to finish the alphabet by the end of the year! I've had this "Q" in mind for a long time now... and finally got around to taking a picture of it today. Enjoy and I promise, more letters will be coming soon!

My friend Kristin, pointed this one out while on an architectural tour on the river. The lighting ended up being perfect to highlight this "M" on this Lake Shore Drive bridge.

I spotted this shot out the window of my train on my way downtown.... on the way back I got off the train at this stop just to get the "i" I have been looking for. I think it was worth the 15 minute wait for the next train home!

At long last, here is my "G". I sat on this one for a while.... feeling like I had to get something that was a little less contrived, but I actually now feel like I don't know what took me so long to get this one up. Sitting on the beach, I mentioned several times to my family the need for my "G". I had gotten a great "F", but what about "G"? My nephew, Jack, overheard me and within minutes built this "G" for me from palm tree branches. It may not be a natural find, but it makes me smile every time I think about him making this for me.
