Archive Tuesday: Cold in Granada (2008)
It's been pretty chilly for July in Chicago, and the weather makes me think of my trip to Spain with Suzy where the weather took the both of us by surprise. We were optimistic that it would be a little warmer than what we were used to in December in the states, but that was not the case. I think our visit to the Alhambra was the hardest. There were so many beautiful things to look at, but it was raining and cold. Despite that though, we saw and took pictures of some amazing things (with the benefit of no crowds). I love this picture of Suzy. She was so cold, but you would never know it in this picture. One of the reasons I loved traveling with Suzy was her positive outlook on every situation. What a great trip!
