Crayola Challenge: GREEN grass.

Nothing represents green more than grass (at least to me). I can remember as a child there were two things I used the green crayon for: grass and flower stems. So, on this beautiful morning (yes, it's true!), I decided to go out and find some grass to match the green crayon.

Not only was it beautiful, but the grass was in the midst of being mowed. I don't know about you, but I LOVE the smell of freshly cut grass... I wish there was a way to transport that smell through my computer to give you the full effect.

When I got back home and downloaded the photo, I actually thought it wasn't going to fit the bill, but then as I looked closer, I noticed that some of the darker grass in the shadows matched.

So here you go... Here's to a fresh start to the week!

love this green! reminds me of a picture i took in ireland in malahide (i'm gonna email it to you at some point). BUT green was surprisingly challenging. i kept falling short on what i thought was green. this photography challenge has taught me almost as much about photography as it has about colors :)

Thanks, Molly! I agree, green is a really tough one.... in fact, I am still going back and forth on whether it really fits the bill. I think at the very least, it's pushing it.

Would love to see your picture from Ireland!

Love that you are participating in this with us! I have been loving your pictures, too! Looking forward to the next! :-)
